The Marion County Fair 4-H Pet Show will be held Thursday, September 12, at 5 p.m. at the Marion County Fairgrounds. There will be seven divisions: Large breed dog, small breed dog, cat, other mammal, bird, reptile and amphibian, and fish. Cash prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place: $15; 2nd place: $10. All animals must be properly vaccinated. Animals must be on a leash, in a cage, or otherwise properly restrained. The pet show is open to all Marion County youth 12th grade and under.
